St Andrews Bangkok High School is the secondary campus of St Andrews International School Bangkok, part of Nord Anglia Education, and one of the largest international secondary schools in the city. Purpose-built and opened in August 2017, it sits at 1020 Sukhumvit Road in Phra Khanong, 200 metres from Ekkamai BTS, with the Primary campus at Sukhumvit 71 a short distance away.
Over 1,100 students from 50-plus nationalities, Years 7 to 13, with the widest subject choice of any British secondary school in Bangkok: 34 IGCSE subjects at Year 10 and 11, then a choice of IB Diploma, IB Career-related Programme, or BTEC at Sixth Form.
The inclusion policy is genuinely non-selective, and the school's IQM Centre of Excellence award in 2024 reflects a serious, sustained commitment to learning support across all abilities. The Nord Anglia network brings curriculum collaborations with MIT and The Juilliard School directly into classroom programmes. Class sizes average 16 students at high school level. Fees run from roughly 400,700 to 849,100 THB annually.
The location on Sukhumvit Road between Ekkamai and On Nut BTS is among the most accessible of any secondary school in Bangkok. For families arriving into the Sukhumvit corridor with a child of secondary age, St Andrews Bangkok High School sits at the centre of most shortlists for good reason.

St Andrews International School Bangkok occupies a purpose-built secondary campus on Sukhumvit Road that opened in August 2017, three minutes' walk from Ekkamai BTS Station. The school operates under Nord Anglia Education, which acquired the St Andrews schools on 2 August 2013, and the High School Campus houses Years 7 to 13 (the Primary School sits separately on Sukhumvit 71).
The British curriculum runs through IGCSE in Year 11 before students choose between the full IB Diploma, the IB Career-related Programme, IB Courses, or BTEC International Diplomas in Years 12 and 13. A-Levels are not offered.
The school holds British Schools Overseas Outstanding accreditation (May 2024 to May 2029) and the Inclusion Quality Mark Centre of Excellence status awarded in March 2024. Students benefit from 34 IGCSE subject options and 35 IBDP options, which the school states is the broadest choice in Bangkok, alongside specialist routes in dance, photography, economics and STEAM.
Nord Anglia collaborations bring MIT STEAM projects, the Juilliard Performing Arts Programme and UNICEF curriculum threads into normal teaching. Facilities at 1020 Sukhumvit Road include a 260-seat theatre, design technology labs, an Apple classroom, a fitness and yoga centre, an Astroturf pitch, and access to a 25-metre pool. The Class of 2025 averaged 33 IBDP points against the IBO global mean of 30.58 for the May 2025 session, with a 95% pass rate and 13 students scoring 40+ points. More than 150 extracurricular clubs run weekly, and the school reports that more than 75% of students take part in at least two after-school activities each week.
The trade-offs are real. The school is explicitly non-selective and inclusive, with 351 SEND-identified pupils across the all-through school (per the BSO May 2024 inspection report) and a large EAL cohort, which suits families wanting genuine learning support but means the IB averages sit below selective peers like NIST or Patana. Thai pupils form the largest nationality group, followed by Japanese, so the demographic mix leans Asian rather than Anglo-expat. The Ekkamai location is excellent by BTS but congested by car, parking is tight, and many secondary parents drop at Gateway Ekkamai mall and walk over. Fees in 2026-27 reach THB 873,800 in Year 12, placing the school in the upper tier of Bangkok international schools.
