Bromsgrove International School Thailand runs two campuses in Minburi, and the Early Years campus is the starting point for younger children, serving Pre-Nursery through Year 1 (ages 2 to 6). The curriculum follows the British EYFS, with a play-based approach through Nursery and Reception before moving into the first year of primary.
Class sizes are small, teachers are almost exclusively British, and families consistently describe a close community feel. The school is affiliated with Bromsgrove School UK, founded in 1553, with the affiliation formalised in 2004. The natural progression from Early Years is the main Windsor Park campus on Suwinthawong Road, a 36-hole golf course setting where children continue from Year 1 through to Sixth Form. A free shuttle bus runs between the two campuses. Annual tuition at Early Years level starts from around 361,200 THB, among the more accessible entry points for a British-affiliated school with this level of pastoral care and class size. The Early Years campus sits on Ramkhamhaeng 164 Road in Minburi, eastern Bangkok, about 30 km from the city centre and off the BTS and MRT network entirely. Families in central Bangkok should plan for a 40 to 60 minute commute by car or school bus.

What You Should Actually Know About Bromsgrove International School (Early Years)
Set on a purpose-built suburban site in eastern Bangkok, this dedicated kindergarten serves children aged 2 to 6 under licence from Bromsgrove School UK (founded 1553), the only early years setting in Thailand carrying the name. The programme follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage with Year 1 transitioning to the English National Curriculum, delivered through play-based learning rather than Reggio, Montessori or PYP frameworks.
Adult-to-child ratios are unusually generous: every class has a UK-qualified British teacher plus a Thai teaching assistant, and Pre-Nursery and Nursery additionally have a dedicated nanny. The community is roughly half Thai and half international across more than 27 nationalities school-wide, suiting long-term Bangkok families and expatriates who want a structured British pathway from age 2 straight through to A Level on the linked Windsor Park campus. Days run 08:00 to 14:00, kept short to match attention spans, with optional swimming in a dedicated pool, specialist sports, music, arts and movement, plus themed weeks covering STEAM, Book Week and nursery rhymes.
EAL support is built into the curriculum at standard level, with a paid intensive English First @ BIST programme available for children needing more help. Class caps are deliberately small: 12 in Pre-Nursery, 15 in Nursery, and 20 from Reception upward. The campus sits on Ramkhamhaeng 164 Road in Min Buri, around 30 km east of central Bangkok, near Suvarnabhumi Airport but well away from Sukhumvit; almost all families arrive by car or school bus, and the school runs route-based transport across eastern and central Bangkok. The trade-offs are practical rather than academic. The location is a long commute for families based in Sathorn, Silom or central Sukhumvit, and there is no nearby BTS or MRT station serving the gate. Children must transfer to Windsor Park for Year 2, which means a second campus adjustment at age 6, although regular cross-campus visits soften the change. A new Headmaster, Giles Montier, took over school-wide leadership in 2025, so families are joining during a transition period. Best for families living in eastern Bangkok or near Suvarnabhumi who want a genuinely British EYFS start with high adult ratios and a clear pipeline into a full British boarding-and-day senior school.
