At this campus
Brighton College Bangkok opened in September 2016 as the sister school of Brighton College UK, named Independent School of the Decade by The Sunday Times. The Krungthep Kreetha campus is the original and main Bangkok site, running the full British curriculum from Early Years through to Sixth Form (ages 2 to 18), with Cambridge IGCSE at Year 11 and a choice of 21 A-Level subjects.
Examination results are strong: 97% A to A grades at A-Level in 2021, and 100% A to B at IGCSE in the inaugural cohort. All teachers are trained in the UK. Around 400 students currently, on a 50-rai campus with a 650-seat theatre, two swimming pools, a 400-metre track, and full sports and performing arts facilities.
A campus built for a school of 1,500, which means the current cohort has space that few schools in Bangkok can match. Academically selective at all entry points. No boarding, day only.
Fees run from roughly 590,300 to 1,021,800 THB annually, with an admission fee of 200,000 THB and a refundable deposit of 150,000 THB on entry. The campus is at Krungthep Kreetha Soi 15 in Hua Mak, Bangkapi, about 30 minutes by car from central Bangkok and 15 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport. No BTS or MRT directly nearby; families drive or use the school bus. For families who want a UK independent school academic culture, serious exam results, and facilities at a scale most Bangkok schools cannot offer, Brighton KK is one of the strongest options in the eastern corridor.

What You Should Actually Know About Brighton College Bangkok (Krungthep Kreetha)
Brighton College Bangkok (Krungthep Kreetha) is a co-educational British international school operating on a purpose-built 20-acre campus in the Krungthep Kreetha district of eastern Bangkok, educating boys and girls from Pre-Nursery through Year 13.
Founded in 2016 and run in close partnership with Brighton College UK, named England's Independent School of the Decade by The Sunday Times, the school follows the National Curriculum for England from Early Years Foundation Stage through to IGCSE and A Level, with 22 subjects available at A Level.
The school is partially selective from Year 3 upwards, with entry tests and character observations forming part of the admissions process. Rated Outstanding in every category by the British Schools Overseas (BSO) inspectorate in 2023, it has also been named British International School of the Year at the Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2024 and Best International School in Thailand in 2025, positioning it as one of the most decorated British-curriculum schools in Asia.
The student body of approximately 663 pupils (as of the 2023 BSO inspection) represents 28 nationalities, with Thai students forming the largest group followed by British and Chinese. Around 40% of pupils hold foreign nationality. The school sits well under its stated capacity of 1,500, meaning class sizes remain smaller than those of the larger Bangkok flagships.
A large majority of pupils use English as an Additional Language (EAL), with a dedicated EAL support structure in place. The campus sits in the Bang Kapi district, roughly 20 kilometres east of the Sukhumvit corridor, making it a practical choice for families living in the Krungthep Kreetha, Ramkhamhaeng, or Bangkapi areas but a significant commute for those based in central Bangkok.
The school operates an extensive minibus network from Year 1 upwards to ease access. Brighton College Bangkok's academic results are a genuine differentiator among Bangkok international schools. At IGCSE, 82% of grades are awarded at A*-B and nearly 50% of the cohort achieves the top grade of A*. At A Level, over 80% of recent grades were A*-B. University destinations include Cambridge, UCL, King's College London, and Chulalongkorn University.
The co-curricular programme is broad, with over 150 activities each week covering sport, performing arts, and academic clubs. The 650-seat theatre, IOC-approved 400-metre athletics track, and twin 50-metre and 25-metre swimming pools are standout facilities by Bangkok standards. Families seeking a structured, academically driven British education with serious sports and performing arts provision will find much to consider here; those wanting an IB pathway, a more central location, or a larger established alumni network should factor those gaps into their decision.
