RISR is the western counterpart to the Minburi flagship, opened in August 2019 to serve families in Nonthaburi and the western Bangkok corridor who want the RIS education without the eastern commute. It follows the same RIS philosophy: the 'Union of Hearts' ethos, inquiry-based learning, a Catholic foundation open to all faiths and nationalities, and a curriculum that gives students genuine choice at secondary.
The American curriculum runs from Pre-K 2 through Grade 12, WASC-accredited, with both IB Diploma and AP tracks available at high school, and the first Grade 12 cohort graduating in 2025.
Service learning tied to the UN Sustainable Development Goals is embedded across year groups. Around 500 to 600 students, growing toward full capacity. The campus is on Bang Kruai-Sai Noi Road in Bang Krang, Mueang Nonthaburi, in the western suburbs of Bangkok, with no BTS or MRT nearby. Families drive or use school transport.

Ruamrudee International School Ratchapruek Campus, known as RISR, is the Nonthaburi sister of RIS Minburi, whose Foundation Day is recorded by the school as May 17, 1957, when the Redemptorist Fathers of Thailand opened a makeshift school in Soi Ruamrudee in downtown Bangkok.
The Ratchapruek site opened in August 2019 on a 17,600 square meter (about 16-rai) plot off Bang Kruai-Sai Noi Road, per the official RIS press release, and now runs an American curriculum from Pre-K 2 through Grade 12, with the first full Grade 12 cohort graduating in June 2026. The school is WASC-accredited and has been authorized as an IB World School to offer the IB Diploma Programme alongside Advanced Placement courses in high school.
It is a Catholic school in foundation but operates an interfaith model, asking Catholic students to take a religion class while peers of other faiths take a values course. Classes are small, with an average size of 14 and a published cap of 20, and the student body is reported at around 279 learners drawn from more than 15 nationalities.
The Early Years follows a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, Kindergarten through Grade 5 is built on the AERO standards used in US State Department-assisted schools, and Grades 9 to 12 use a STREAM framework (science, technology, recreation, engineering, arts and languages, math) leading to a 36-credit US high school diploma.
